1 Mask I wear each day
I wear one mask each day at work or whenever I go out of my house. I decided to recreate the original image by using a facemask that you would typically wear for the covid-19 pandemic. I recreated this using myself as the model, wearing the clothes that I would usually have on to go to work. In my version, I applied similar effects as the original so that it would have more of a vintage feel to it.
2 Hand-sanitizers that I currently have at home
Hand hygiene is an important part of the response to covid-19. Hand sanitizers are currently out of stock in many places because of the simple and effective way to prevent infections. Whenever I do not have soap readily available, I tend to use hand sanitizer. In my recreation, I have two out of the three people holding sanitizers instead of jewelry.
3 Times I clean each week since the quarantine
I would you usually do less because of my busy schedule. But ever since I’ve been stuck at home and full of boredom, I’ve had plenty of time to clean. I decided to use this artwork with a woman holding a rake because it reminded me of someone sweeping. I recreated this using a broom, in my living room.
4 Times
I had to disinfect my money in the month of April. I try to avoid using or touching money ever since this pandemic because they carry a lot of germs, but I’ve encountered 4 different situations where I’ve had to accept money and chose to disinfect. I did my recreation of the pyramid by using pennies because it relates to money. I’ve been saving up coins for the longest time, so I decided to use the pennies that I had already before covid-29 happened.
5 Boxes of gloves left at my job
And the five fingers that are in one hand, which fit a glove. When I saw this image, I instantly thought of recreating it by just wearing a glove on my hand. This actually took me five minutes to stage, on my bed. I decided to crop out my arm so that it would create the same mood as the original image.
